The 11 Best Quiet Luxury Brands Are Beyond Any Trend
As the allure of "Quiet luxury" transcends its trendy label, these designers remain timeless investments.

Quiet luxury brands may feel like a recent phenomenon, thanks to cultural touch-points like Shiv Roy's wardrobe in Succession or the intricate TikTok fashion taxonomy. However, style experts argue this perception is misleading. "The appeal of timeless, minimalist design has endured steadily over the decades.," explains Mary Kemp, fashion influencer. Be it termed "quiet luxury," "stealth wealth," or the "old money aesthetic," the charm of understated elegance is far from a recent phenomenon.
Quiet luxury has upheld its aesthetic signatures long before being given a trendy moniker. Whether from new brands or heritage luxury designers, the ethos remains rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and elegance. "Styles convey refinement and sophistication through understated details and a minimalist aesthetic, steering clear of overt branding." says Mary Kemp, fashion influencer. In handbags, she adds, quiet luxury is defined by "Sleek lines, muted tones like brown, beige, or black, and minimal hardware or none at all define the aesthetic. Subtle elements like tonal stitching and discreet branding further elevate a bag's refined sophistication."
For some designers, quiet luxury represents more than a trend—it's a philosophy or state of mind. "I don’t view it as a trend—it’s a way of life to me.," says Megan Hurley, owner of various designer brands. "Our community of shoppers largely values the enduring appeal of timeless design and is rarely swayed by passing trends."

The Row
Founded by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in 2011, The Row may be a relative newcomer in the history of designer fashion, but its impact is undeniable. Mary Kemp, fashion influencer, highlights The Row’s "sleek, sophisticated designs" as some of the best examples of quiet luxury available today.
The Row's approach to essentials, such as solid-colored knitwear and wool trousers, transcends the idea of "basic." In the summer of 2021, the brand elevated a khaki linen pant to must-have status with expert pleating alone—further amplified by a street-style endorsement from Kendall Jenner. Beyond its timeless staples, The Row’s runway collections feature experimentally draped sheath dresses and stunning coats that become coveted pieces for a devoted base of fashion collectors. Whether you're drawn to their minimalist basics or avant-garde runway offerings, investing in The Row is always a choice in enduring style.

Objets Daso
Objets Daso, a new luxury accessories line, debuted its first "volume," featuring the three handbags listed above, at the perfect moment. Co-founder Pratik Vyas observes, "It's fascinating to see how the concept of 'quiet luxury' has recently gained traction, as Catharine Whang, Objets Daso creative director and co-founder and I have been exploring this idea for quite some time."
The label's three styles are defined by geometric shapes, sharp lines, and inspiration drawn from iconic women in history: Na Hye-Seok, Vivian Maier, and Josephine Baker. As Catharine Whang tells me, the range exudes a sense of timelessness through its elegant simplicity. Even so, new brands aim to establish distinctive design signatures, no matter how subtle. For Objets Daso, this signature is its Bauhaus-inspired lock. "Numerous sketches and prototypes were crafted to develop a look that is instantly identifiable and perfectly reflects our brand's core of minimalist sophistication," Whang explains.
Ultimately, “Our pieces are crafted to seamlessly integrate into our customers' daily lives, serving as an extension of their individuality and style while reflecting their character," explains Vyas. "This naturally fosters a deeper emotional bond than any trend could ever achieve."

Hunting Season
Hunting Season's creative director, Danielle Corona, places a strong emphasis on longevity. "As a brand, we feel a deep responsibility when introducing products to the world, and we believe our customers share that same sense of care when choosing items to bring into their lives," she shares with me. "Our aim is to craft pieces that individuals take pride in owning and can envision passing down to future generations to cherish and enjoy."
Corona believes the value of each Hunting Season piece lies in its story. "Who crafted it? How was it created, and where did it originate?" she asks. For Hunting Season, these questions are answered through a blend of centuries-old artisanal techniques and modern touches that refresh—without ever overdoing—a raffia tote or a leather bucket bag.“I cherish the connection to the past and appreciate that certain things are timeless and don’t need to change," the designer says.

The brand has garnered a loyal following across the fashion industry and celebrated a major milestone in 2022 with the opening of its first brick-and-mortar store, which also served as the venue for its most recent fashion show.
The line embraces a distinctly luxurious take on familiar staples: cashmere button-up cardigans paired with coordinating bralettes, straight-leg denim, and Western-meets-minimalist boots in suede and snake print. "Our philosophy has always centered on designing clothing that real women genuinely want to wear—reimagining American classics into timeless, collectible pieces.," designer Catherine Holstein previously shared with me. The demand for these pieces continues to grow, with searches for the label increasing by 10 percent on the fashion index Lyst last quarter, as shoppers flock to its sexy, simple dresses and leather accessories.
